Welcome to the 2017 Spring Plant Sale!
Our plant sale is supported by local volunteers and is an excellent source for dormant spring plant stock. Bareroot or dormant stock is cheaper, easier to handle, and helps avoid ‘transplant shock’ that occurs when working with plants during the growing season.
Since our sale is a small, volunteer supported fundraiser (we are not a commercial nursery), we still only accept payments by check or money order. Please click below to download copies of our flyer and order form, or to receive one by mail click here, or call 748-3885 x110.
Your plants arrive about a week before the pick up date. Please be ready to plant as the plants are usually ready to burst out of dormancy, and have been out of the ground for a couple of weeks by the time they arrive. Keep roots moist but do not immerse in water. Keep them in dark and cool place until you can plant.
It’s always good to research proper care for your plants. Berries and other fruits tend to have specific soil needs, and there are many online resources to help learn more about plant spacing, watering and overall care.
Pick up time is Saturday May 6th 9:00am to 11:00am at Lyndonville Bandstand Park. We also offer alternate pick up in Newark on Thursday May 4th, or arrangements can be made for Friday May 5th in St. Johnsbury (at our office). Please call for more information 748-3885 x110
Thank you for your support!
